About our History

Hawaiian History
Maui was discovered as a floating island in the 1778 by Captain James Cook. Later, in the 1800's turtles or "Honu" became a food eaten by the Hawaiians and the shells used for a containers. Today, Maui is blessed by a vibrant culture withunique native species, and spectacular scenic beauty. Many people came to Maui to see the beautiful untouched turtles. Many turtles can be seen at Ho’okipa beach bringing you a lifetime of unforgotten memories as you encounter them.
Hawaiian Recreation Activities
Many outdoor water sports are attrative on the Island of Maui including whale watching, dolphin swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, surfing, canoeing, fishing, luaus, nature hikes, butterfly exploration, yoga and tai chi on the beach, art painting, views of ancient farming, helicopter rides of the magical waterfalls, watching a sunset with vibrant colors, walking on the sandy beach where many ocean treasures may be found. Each activity brings positive energy of rejuevenation to many people all over the world.
